My Story

What if less could mean
more for designers?

As a designer with over 25 years of experience, I’ve watched something troubling happen to our craft. When I first shared my work online, it felt exciting - design had room to breathe, quality stood out, and feedback helped us grow. But over time, that changed.

Today's design platforms prioritize quantity over quality

The platforms we once relied on became consumption machines - endless scrolling, constant posting, quantity over quality.

We spent hours maintaining multiple portfolios, feeding algorithms with new content, only to watch my best work disappear in the noise within days.

It wasn't just me. I spoke with hundreds of designers who shared the same frustration:

"I spent 40 hours on this project, and it disappeared from view in less than a day."

"Recruiters can't find my best work among all the quick sketches I post to stay relevant."

"I'm exhausted trying to maintain a presence on five different platforms."

I realized we weren't truly being served by these platforms – we were serving them. And in the process, we were losing something essential about design: the space to appreciate quality.
